I mentioned the Threadless t-shirt design contests for both Japan and New Zealand just a short while ago and now they are both available at the Threadless store. So if you are feeling charitable but want something to show for it too you can pick up one of these tees (or more) for just $20.
This tee by kiwi, David Creighton-Pester, shows some hands trying to reassemble the famous Christchurch cathedral that was destroyed in the earthquake. To see it restored would be great and surely would become a symbol of recovery in this beautiful city. 25% from the sale of this tee will go to Architecture for Humanity’s efforts to rebuild the city of Christchurch, New Zealand.
This t-shirt design by Jason Yang is the Japan flag as an urban landscape. It is a very simple design that doesn’t scream charity tee. 100% of net proceeds from the sale of this tee will go to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund.
