It was back in June last year when I first heard that Design by Humans was going undergo some major changes with a September ETA but clearly took much longer than that. The site has been completely redone and looks pretty good. It is a little bit busier than before but they have so many new things going on it would have been heard to keep their minimalist style. The first thing I should mention is the free t-shirt with every order placed within the next 30 days (while stocks last). It’s a DBH logo tee but it’s a free tee so don’t complain.

For artists the most important thing may be the doubling of the prize money from $500 to $1000. Very nice but it seems that there will only be 4 Shirt of the Days per week rather than 5. That’s Monday to Thursday and Friday will see the introduction of a Special Edition Shirt. We will have to wait until Friday to see what that means but I have  a feeling it will be a reprint on a premium shirt a la Threadless Select but we’ll see. It’s something to look forward to.

This is also a new feature that I assume will continue for a while at least. DBH will sell one t-shirt for just $10 for 10 days (or until stock runs out). I assume the tee will change every 10 days. Great value. This month it is Be on the Safe Side by Yonil.

And now every Shirt of the Day will be just $15 in the first 24 hours. They are usually $19 or $21 so that is also pretty cool.
