No Star sent over a couple of t-shirts to be reviewed. One of them, entitled Chucks, is one of my favorites from their store. It is a simple white image of a pair of sneakers but the simplicity is what makes it so effective. The white ink seems to stand out from the black t-shirt making the laces look almost real. The other t-shirt, called Horse of Course, we weren’t so sure about. It features a silhouette of a horse (unicorn?) with the text of course written underneath it. I think the purple was just too, well, purple. It is available in other colors though. I think my wife would have loved the asphalt tee with the pink design.

The ladies t-shirt is American Apparel and the mens…I don’t know. Made in Honduras. The material seems very similar in both shirts but the stitching is far superior in the American Apparel. The original labels have been cut off and replaced with No Star labels. The back of the labels are interesting too. The mens label gave me some cryptic advice and the ladies told me my lucky numbers for the week. Now if I can just figure out which week…

If these two t-shirts are not to your taste never fear as they have quite a big selection of cool and funny t-shirts available and I am sure you can find something. Most shirts seem priced at $24. Even if you are not t-shirt hunting you should go and check out their smile philosophy. No Star’s sole purpose is to make the world a happier place.
