nopooh was launched in November last year. They have a beautiful website and a great selection of t-shirts with fairly simple designs. The tees give aff a real retro vibe and I don’t mean that the designs are retro (some are) but the fact that there is basically just a small print in the center of the chest. That was what most printed t-shirts used to look like. Things are different now with t-shirts coming with huge designs and even all over prints. There is something refreshing about this return to a simpler style. These tees are definitely stylish rather than fashionable, not to say they aren’t fashionable but that even when this fashion trend has passed they will still be cool. Did I just define”stylish” for you? I couldn’t find the reason for the name of their store, nopooh, so I will venture a guess that the name comes from the fact that they will not put any crap in their store and they will not put up with any crap in their daily lives. The tees are all American Apparel so if you like those and many do, you will be happy.

The tee I was sent was asphalt gray tee with a motorcycle silhouette print. The white text on the black print really pops which really makes the design. There is also a sleeve print that is not visible in their shop image, it is a black oval print with the text UNION in it. It does add a little something.

If I had to criticize the tee I would say that it looks like a promo tee for a spark plug but I don’t really think that’s a bad thing. I myself have a pretty cool retro Pan-Am logo tee that I bought in Hawaii last year.
