Threadless mentioned on Twitter that they are redesigning their site and that we should take a look at it and see what we think. My first impression, sorry designers, is that it is ugly and messy. I have never considered Threadless a beautiful site but I have always liked it. It has a lot of white space which makes it easy to look at but the new design, especially that big pink neon logo and the yellow bar at the top, make my eyes bleed.
Mess around on the new site and tell us what ya think! http://t.co/USjyfnzC

The new navigation system is a bit annoying too. Just roll your mouse over the shop button by accident and half of the screen is covered. And those rollover effects that were just on the home page have spread like a virus infecting other parts of the site.
And despite having a bigger (much bigger) logo, I feel that the branding has been obscured. Even on the homepage where it is a freakish neon color but especially on other pages where you might not even notice the muted gray background image.
Please tone it down Threadless!
And for usability it makes more sense for SHOP to be the first item on the menu! I mean, you are trying to sell t-shirts right!

What do you think?
just checked out the beta site…have to agree with you that theyve done a lil too much to try and bring a cool factor to the site. All thats going on actually confuses me more rather than clarifying on who they are and what they do.
